Theatre St. James - Old Montreal

I was at the St. James Theatre in Old Montreal, through the kindness of the General Director and Managing Directors of both the Rialto and the St. James Theatre, to photograph the architecture within this grand building. It is in the early 1900's that this grand building came to be as the CIBC Bank and at one time had as a tenant the White Star Lines of Titanic fame. Inside is a grand ballroom with a 65' high ceiling, a mezzanine overlooking it and downstairs the White Star Lines Vault room. Gorgeous architecture, throughout, from the marble surrounding the door entering the ballroom to the elevator doors, all the architectural details in the ceilings and doors throughout.
