I went downtown early Sunday morning, while the sun was still relatively low in the sky, and it being an overcast day anyway. I parked on Sherbrooke St. near University St. gathered up my gear, camera and tripod, and headed out for a walk along Sherbrooke. There are many new and old examples of architecture here. I then came to the McGill University Campus, I stopped to take a photo of the entrance, and decided to venture in. I haven't been there in many years but I know the buildings there represent very much the history of Montreal as far back as the 1800's.
