We went to Niagara on the Lake on the 3rd day in Niagara Falls, it was a gorgeous town, a lot of wineries and a great downtown area, where we stopped in for a sandwich and a pastry at a bakery there. Today we started by visited Fort George we were introduced to the war of 1812 and the daily lives of the soldiers. Next we visited a couple of wineries, Iniskillin and its sister winery Jackson Triggs. Then after lunch we went to the Welland Canal and visited the museum at Lock #1, where we actually saw a huge ship pass through the Lock, very cool I never saw that before. I may be putting together a time lapse video of the ships' arrival and entry into the Lock.
