Canada Malting Plant 2016-03-27

Yesterday I visited the Canada Malting Plant on Saint Ambroise Street in Saint Henri. It was originally built in 1903, and closed in the 1980's and sits decrepit and rusting, but is amazing to photograph in the setting sun. While I was there several young kids who had scaled a wooden wall, obviously there to keep people out, but with cut out slots or there hands and makeshift ladders, they got in. Too bad the city can't do anything with these buildings and stabilized them for legitimate visitation, would be neat to photograph the inside, they are part of Montreal's history.
