I found out about the Canadian Aviation Heritage Center in Sainte Anne de Bellevue from a West Island booklet I picked up somewhere with events happening during the summer. I found this place in that booklet and decided to visit the center today, I had a hard time finding it, it is on the McDonald Campus of McGill University, anyhow I eventually came upon a sign pointing me in the right direction. I got a tour by one of the volunteers there, they are currently rebuilding a 1942 Fairchild bomber from 1942 they retrieved from a field in Winnepeg. Quite an interesting place, I will be going back to visit it again. I took some HDR shots of the cockpit and part of the fuselage they are rebuilding and a couple of other very old planes on the second floor.
